10"x20" acrylic on canvas

I have always been fascinated with turtles. I had one as a pet and it died when I was 8 years old. Dealing with death at 8, even if it's a pet, can be a hard thing. I remember crying and telling my parents we had to bury him in his bowl but that we could not cover the top just in case he wasn't all the way dead. That way he could climb out.

Ohhh how sad about the turtle ;__;

but lovely art though. Very nice and sunset-ish.

A flying turtle, how cute. He looks very sad though, it's a shame. I am sorry to hear of your loss. I was very much the same when my dog died, I did't want to believe that he had gone. It was very sad.
