Artist's Comments

11"x14" Watercolor and ink on watercolor paper.

I only used black because I wondered if I was becoming too reliant on colors to convey the message of my work. This guy has been in my mind for many years, and has manifested under a few different appearances. This is the most recent. He conducts the most dangerous experiments on himself.

Original available through Inspirosity Art Gallery. [link]

Thanks. This was actually my 3rd (completed) watercolour. I still have one in the works and one (the very first) I threw away. It's a lot of fun and very relaxing. I think I will be sticking with it.

you're welcome :) ahhh.. sounds neat.. i love the "messy" look when they're done.. the shading is soo specific, there's practically no other way to create it short of using real watercolors :) i love them.. need to get back into them.. been many years... always save everything man.. so when you're dead, and famous all your works will sell and make millions for your offspring & estate :#1: rofl..

Of course. Art isn't worth much until the artists can't make it anymore. It's a wonderful system. Let those who cannot create, make money off of those who can. Oh well. As long as people see my work I don't care how many I sell. Every time I sell work I just go out and buy more art supplies anyway. I have a guy who randomly mails me money just so I will keep creating art. I've never met him. Then, on occasion, he asks me how much credit he has built up and then says, "What can I get for that?" I mail him something he likes and we are good for a while. As long as HE doesn't die I will keep making art :)
